As we enter our milestone 40th year, we realize more than ever that our MFP experiences change us all, from the inside out. Built on the pioneering work of David Darling and co-founder, Bonny Insull and enlivened by so many innovative leaders, Music for People has inspired us while providing a safe, supportive, encouraging, FUN place to explore and be more ourselves.
And now we are poised for our next movement and ask you to be a part of it. Whether it’s participating in our current visioning process, volunteering with your talents and time, or making a donation to support our growth, we hope you will join us.
We thank all of you who showed up at our events this year. You are the heart of our community, the dynamic pulse that gives us life. And your tuition dollars are an important part of sustaining us. I know we’ve said it before, but did you know that tuition makes up just 30% of our operating budget? While that’s significant, it’s your year-end donations that make up the other 70%.
This year we’re asking you to reflect on how Music for People has inspired greater creativity, kindness, trust & connection in your life and donate from there. The world needs more MfP —and MfP needs YOU!
