During the pandemic, some Music for People participants created pieces together by each participant recording their track and then sharing it online. The resulting album, Between Sheltered Places, reflects the pain, anxieties, and hopes during this time, as well as the  desire to rock, roll, boogie, and dream well beyond it.

Check out the finished album on Bandcamp. All sale proceeds go to Music for People.

The Darling Conversations explores the fundamental techniques of sound-making as an instrument of self-expression and personal growth. By approaching music from a philosophy of self-acceptance and joy, we can tap into our inborn creative impulse and re-vitalize our music-making.

Through extensive conversations with Grammy-winning cellist David Darling and Music for People chairperson Julie Weber and highlighted with over 80 examples of improvised, in-the-moment music, Darling and Weber take the listener through the basic techniques of creating improvised music.

You can purchase this album as a digital download on Bandcamp.
